Hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children in the UK need care and protection in order to ensure that they can live safe and happy lives, free from neglect, abuse and exploitation. Spurgeons’ staff are committed to providing the support that will enable these children to enjoy their childhood and fulfil their true potential. Spurgeons is one of the UK’s most well-respected charities. They have been working tirelessly on behalf of vulnerable children since the charity was first founded, 140 years ago.

Creatiscope developed comprehensive brand guidelines with a contemporary design that moves the brand identity forward from a very dated look. In addition, we have designed and produced many of the charity’s communications materials such as annual reports, fundraising campaigns, magazines and stationery templates.

Spurgeons was delighted to see their supporter magazine Footprints receive a Special Award in the category of Best Charity Magazine at the MemCom Awards 2012. These awards recognise and reward excellence in the charity and membership body sector and the competition was tough!

The judges said “Footprints addresses difficult topics tackling complex social issues, yet presents them vibrantly – leaving the reader hopeful, with celebratory content that engages readers and makes them want to do something to help. Footprints is a very effective fundraising, awareness and communication tool.”
